This is an enquiry, not a live reservation. Secure availability and checkout will only be connected after Zen’s own Beds24 property, rooms, capacity, currency and rate plans are verified.

WHY BOOK DIRECT

A person,
not a booking box.

01

The best rate we offer

Book with us and you get our own rate — the booking sites take a cut, and that cut is not in your price.

02

A person, not a form

Message us on WhatsApp and someone here answers. Ask about dates, a group, a month, a diet — we'll tell you straight.

03

Breakfast in every rate

Three courses, and most of it grown in our own garden. It is never an add-on at the end.

04

We can shape the stay

Retreats, teams and long stays are quoted properly rather than squeezed into a booking site's boxes.

GOOD TO KNOW

Before you come.

What is Zen Koggala?

A small lakeside property in southern Sri Lanka — 11 rooms on Koggala Lake, built for remote workers staying a while and for retreat groups taking the place to themselves.

Can I actually work from here?

Yes. 300 Mbps fibre and a co-working room that seats fifteen, air conditioned and facing the water. And if you are a team rather than one person, you can take the whole property — 11 rooms, nobody else on site, and the long table becomes your meeting room.

How long can I stay?

As long as you like — a week, a month, a season. There is no published monthly rate yet, so send us your dates and we will quote you.

Can we run a retreat here?

Yes. Your group takes the property exclusively — all 11 rooms, up to 22 guests, and no other booking while you are here. Practice happens on the deck; organisers bring their own teacher and programme.

When is the best time to come?

Any month. We are on a lake, not the sea — it stays calm and green all year, while the coast is rough for a good part of it. Kayaks go out from the deck, the boat safari leaves from here, and the pool is there for swimming. Around 30°C in January.
